Pink Lady® supports Stroke Association at the Thames Bridges Bike Ride
We are thrilled to be supporting this year’s Thames Bridges Bike Ride, an event hosted annually by the Stroke Association to raise vital funds for the charity.
The Thames Bridges Bike Ride will take place on Sunday 26 June, and will consist of a number of family-friendly bike rides and is now in its 22nd year. The routes vary in distance from 8 to 50 miles, ensuring there is something to suit all abilities.
All those taking part will have a deliciously snackisfying treat waiting for them at the finish line, as we will be offering free Pink Lady® apples to all cyclists on the day!
Pink Lady® has supported Stroke Association since 2014, backing its important work helping families affected by strokes in the UK. The partnership supports the charity’s healthy eating ethos, as there is a proven link between eating apples and a reduced risk of strokes and other cardiovascular diseases like heart attacks.
Pink Lady® also helped raise funds for the Stroke Association at this year’s London Marathon, by recruiting four runners to complete the course dressed a Pink Lady® apple, with all money raised from sponsorship going to the charity.
