#PinkLadySnaps is back!
The ultimate competition for lovers of food and photography, in association with the acclaimed Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year Awards, returns for 2021-22 and entries are now open.
Our renowned Instagram competition runs from 1st September to 31st March and invites happy snappers from around the globe to upload their best food-related pics to Instagram. Whether it’s a photo of a delectable dish, a portrait of perfect produce or a stylish street food image, you can get involved in the fun each month by tagging your tasty ‘grams.
Our monthly favourites will receive special shout-outs on our official Instagram account and will be entered for the grand prize draw – in which the overall winner could be in with the chance of winning a digital camera package worth £800! Not only that, we will also make a donation of £40 to the World Food Programme charity in their name.
All entries will be judged by David Loftus - one of the world’s leading photographers and head judge of the Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year. David has worked with top chefs and foodies from across the globe including Rachel Khoo, Gennaro Contaldo, Jamie Oliver, Nathan Outlaw and April Bloomfield to name a few. For more than 20 years David has photographed over 100 books and his influential and internationally acclaimed work has led to Professional Photographer magazine naming him the 65th most influential photographer of all time.
Barbora Baretic - "Heavenly Loaf"
To join the likes of past overall winners Barbora Baretic, Laura Field and Aimee Twigger, just upload your best foodie snap to Instagram, include the hashtag #PinkLadySnaps followed by the abbreviation of the current month you’re entering in e.g. Sept, Oct, then include the last two digits of the year e.g. 21 or 22. So, if you’re entering in this month’s competition, September, the hashtag would be #PinkLadySnapsSept21
All entries must also tag @pinkladyappleuk and @FoodPhotoAward to be officially entered into the monthly competition.
On the last day of each month, David Loftus will select his winning shot. These monthly winning images will then go forward to be considered as the overall winner of the #PinkLadySnaps21/22 competition to sit in good company with the illustrious shortlisted and winning images from the main Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year awards.
