Pink Lady competition® winner visits The Frustrated Gardener
To celebrate our exciting collaboration with gardener extraordinaire and Instagram influencer, The Frustrated Gardener, which launched in summer 2021, we offered one lucky Pink Lady® fan the chance to win an exclusive tour of Dan Cooper’s Watch House Garden.
Fast forward to spring 2022 and our lucky winner took their trip, enjoying an all-expenses-paid weekend in Broadstairs for two people, staying at The Yarrow Hotel with a 3-course dinner.
The trip was perfectly timed for our winner, Sara, who used the weekend as an opportunity to celebrate her and her husband’s milestone birthday this year.
“Everything from start to finish was perfect, it was a wonderful hotel and the dinner was delicious. It was a wonderful way to extend our 50th birthday celebrations and we couldn't have asked for more from the weekend.”
The Pink Lady® winners were treated to a tour and a chance to ask Dan Cooper, aka The Frustrated Gardener, for expert gardening tips while meandering around his coastal courtyard garden. Dan’s garden is a great example of how to maximise a smaller outdoor space whilst still majoring on impact and colour, featuring the beautiful planted container made as part of our collaboration, which were inspired by the colours of a Pink Lady® apple.
Sara, who thoroughly enjoyed her time discovering new ways to revamp her garden, said “The weather stayed gorgeous and dry, and we had such a great visit with Dan and his beautiful garden, he was such a lovely guy with lots of helpful tips and tricks.”
