Pink Lady® competition winner gets pampered at special spa weekend
Earlier this year, we teamed up with the Co-op to help spread the love for Valentine’s Day and gave one lucky Pink Lady® apple lover the chance to win a UK luxury spa break to Pennyhill Park hotel and spa.
We recently caught up with winner Steve Scott, who took the prize with wife Annette last month to enjoy the facilities and all it had to offer during a relaxing and rejuvenating stay…
“We were welcomed by a very friendly team at the Pennyhill Park hotel and spa and eased into our stay with a soothing session at Spa Themis complete with massage and facial treatments, which was then followed by lunch and cocktails at the spa restaurant - a fantastic start to our trip!” said Steve.
A bright and early start for the couple the next morning was kicked off with a full English breakfast and a trip to nearby Windsor castle, before returning to the hotel for drinks and a meal at the Michelin Star Latymer restaurant – undoubtedly the highlight of the trip.
Steve said, “We enjoyed a six-course tasting menu together with wine pairings which mirrored the Pink Lady® orchard regions and what an experience it was! The food was absolutely fantastic and the staff were so very attentive. The sommelier was so knowledgeable and friendly, we really did just relax and enjoy a wonderful evening."
