This year was our 13th year working with the world-famous Virgin Money London Marathon. We supply over 40,000 of our delicious apples to all the amazing finishers of the 26.2-mile race. This year, we’re proud to announce we have raised £4,868.88 for Padua Children’s Oncology Ward at William Harvey Hospital, Ashford, Kent.

Joe Grantham, Andrew Wooding-Jones, Gary Edwards, Zoe Finch, Simon Luck and Kieran Hyland from Kent-based running club Beginners2Runners, raised all the money by completing the gruelling challenge dressed in the iconic apple costumes.

Padua Ward provides both inpatient and daycare for children across east Kent up to the age of 16. The specialist ward provides separate areas for teenagers, children and babies as well as oncology patients. The expert paediatric team based there promote a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for children and their carers throughout their stay, and the funds raised will be used for new playroom equipment to make their stay more comfortable
