Apple Simnel Muffins with Quinoa

Simnel cakes are traditionally made at Easter and contain balls of marzipan as well as diced Pink Lady® apples, lots of warm spices.  Quinoa helps keep your blood sugar stable and slowly releases the energy into your body.

This soup is a lovely warming treat to serve on Halloween with crusty bread or breadsticks and it’s full of goodness. Use mild, medium or madras curry powder depending on how spicy you prefer your soup.

Mini Pork and Apple Pies

Mini pork and Pink Lady® apple pies are ideal to eat as part of a picnic on school sports days. They are made in muffin tins so they are easy to remove and transport. You could cheat and use ready made short crust pastry but homemade hot water crust pastry is delicious, crunchy and easy to make with a little help from an adult
