Pink Lady® Smørrebrød

These beautiful open-faced sandwiches are popular in Scandinavia. Traditionally made on dark rye bread, you can top them with a variety of vegetables or smoked and pickled fish. This version is perfect for a quick snack or afternoon tea, with crisp, refreshing cucumber, radishes and Pink Lady® on cream cheese, finished with floral pink peppercorns.

Full preparation

  1. Toss the Pink Lady® slices with the lemon juice, then arrange them over the croissant halves. Sandwich the top of each croissant over the apple slices and serve warm, with the remaining Pink Lady® slices alongside.

  2. Leave to cool for 5 minutes, then halve the croissants and spread each with half a tablespoon of the peanut butter. Scatter with the chopped rosemary.

  3. Toss the Pink Lady® slices with the lemon juice, then arrange them over the croissant halves. Sandwich the top of each croissant over the apple slices and serve warm, with the remaining Pink Lady® slices alongside.
