The winner of the Pink Lady® Apple a Day category of Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year 2017 was announced at a packed reception at the Mall Galleries, London on Tuesday 25th April as Richard Perry (UK) for his image, Keeps the Doctor Away. He was presented with his trophy and £1,000 cheque by Michelle Toft, Chief Marketing Officer, Pink Lady® UK.
“Richard’s shot stood out from the rest in its category," says Andy Macdonald, who heads up Pink Lady® in the UK, headline sponsor of the awards, “for the witty and inventive way in which he developed the theme of a creative shot of a Pink Lady® apple.”
