Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year 2017-18
Celebrating the world’s best food photography and film, Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year is now in its seventh year, and is widely recognised as the Oscars of the food photography world.
On Tuesday 24th April, more than 400 people gathered at the Mall Galleries in London to celebrate the winners of the seventh Pink Lady® Food Photographer Of The Year Awards.
The wonderful Prue Leith was the host this year and was joined on stage to present the awards by some very prestigious people from the world of food including the legendary three Michelin-starred chef Pierre Koffman, leading sustainable and ethical chef Arthur Potts Dawson and two Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar.
Bangladeshi photographer Noor Ahmed Gelal scooped the overall winning image with his colourful and joyous image, Praying With Food, a bird’s eye view showing people breaking a day-long fast at a Hindu temple in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Pink Lady® Apple a Day Category Winner 2018
The Pink Lady® Apple A Day category was won by German photographer Michael Meisen for his stunning image entitled ‘The Art Of Being An Apple’, showcasing our blushing apples beautifully displayed within a bouquet of flowers. Judges said his shot stood out for the way in which he made the subject matter so stunning and distinctive.
