Pink Lady® takes on The Big Apple!
We recently teamed up with Anna, blogger at South Molton St. Style, by challenging her to take the Pink Lady® apple to The Big Apple and bring back the low-down on New York City. Anna gave us some exclusive tips about which sights can’t be missed, which boutiques to spend your dollars in and the best restaurants in town...
“We found Boqueria Soho by accident whilst shopping. Having done some research it looks like a chain, but it certainly doesn't feel it. It has a really nice local vibe with long communal tables, big jugs of cocktails and platters of tapas. I’d say it’s the perfect place to deposit a man whilst you pop around the corner and spend your dollars”
“The best area to do your shopping in is, in my opinion, the bottom end of Broadway and its side streets. They have all of the major stores you want (J Crew, Madewell, Victoria’s Secret, Gap, American Eagle) but also have some brilliant independent boutiques for fashion and home.” One of Anna’s favourites is Global Table. She says, “I love the fabrics and pots they have; they source their products from all over the world.”
Anna says: “Walking the Brooklyn Bridge is a brilliant idea and reading up on its history is fascinating too; the engineering of this bridge is really quite remarkable. Too many people stick to Manhattan, do go off the island and explore the true life of New Yorkers a little bit.”
