Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year Award winners to be showcased in French exhibition
After another successful year for the Pink Lady® Food Photographer Awards, we are excited to announce the winning images are to be displayed at a renowned photography exhibition in France.
This summer, the 20 winners will have their work displayed at an international photography festival, Les Rencontres d’Arles. The festival, which will be held in the stunning city of Arles, will be held on the 3rd – 9th July as part of the festival which celebrates food photography from all over the world, gaining further exposure for our selection of talented photographers.
One of the photographs showcased will be by Bangladesh-based Shoeb Faruquee, who was declared overall winner of this year’s awards with his image ‘Food for God’. Shoeb was presented with a cheque for £5,000 by Andy Macdonald, Managing Director of Pink Lady® UK at this year’s London-based award ceremony.
Andy commented: “We are delighted to support the awards each year, and love seeing great talent from all over the world showcasing the best in food photography. We are thrilled that the winners from this year’s competition have this fantastic opportunity to have their work exhibited at one the most prestigious photography events in France, thanks to our colleagues at Pink Lady® Europe.”
