Eating healthy, feeling good Chilled Breakfast soup - Sausage and Apple Casserole

Follow the 3-meal-a-day plan for two weeks if you want to lose 3-5 pounds; repeat for another two weeks to lose at least half a stone. This is a healthy eating plan that you can follow for as long as you want. We've assumed you might be starting it on a Monday, but you can start on any day you want!

  • Also eat one snack per day from our selection (which includes some treats!). Try to save this for when you are likely to feel hungriest and most likely to go off track!
  • Switch meals around if there's something you don't like. But try to get as much variety as possible. Don't skimp on the Pink Lady® apples, as they are an integral part of your slimming plan!
  • In addition to any dairy products in the menus, have an extra 250ml of semi-skimmed milk a day – to be used in tea, coffee or as a drink. Make sure any other drinks you have are calorie free – i.e. water, herbal teas or diet drinks.

How it works

The plan reduces your calorie intake to around 1200 calories a day but doesn't leave you hungry because it contains bulky, low energy density and satiating food.
